Please be as specific as possible about the information you want, as this will help us to find it for you. We are obliged to reply promptly and in any event within 20 working days. A charge may apply to some information requests.

If we have to withhold information, under one of the Exemptions to the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act, we will tell you why and give you details of how to appeal if you are not satisfied with how your request has been handled. Appeals should be made to the Chief Executive of Investors in People Scotland in the first instance. If you are not satisfied with the way your appeal has been handled you can ask the Scottish information Commissioner to investigate further.
